linen closet organization ideas
Happy Labor Day everyone!!
I hope you all are having a great time!

I know I am….my Hubby and I did a little organizing and yard work this past weekend and are taking today to relax, be lazy, BBQ, and spend time with family. Even though it is a Holiday, I thought I would do a quick post on the linen closet organization I completed over the weekend.

Here is our linen closet that is in the hallway in between our main bathroom and laundry room. We also have two bedrooms on this side of the house too.

It was pretty organized to begin with, but since we are making room for baby items {towels, wash cloths, blankets}, I decided it was time to clean it out a little more and add something cute for organization.

As you can see, it is pretty well organized. But, the problem was there were too many small items folded up everywhere, I had paper towels in the bottom part of the closet {which I moved into the pantry} and I felt I needed to move things around a bit to make better use of the space.
See all the cute little bath towels and wash cloths…..I love them but they made the closet look too busy.
So, with a little rearranging of items and using baskets I had sitting in our office not being used, I was able to clean up this space, creating a well organized, functional, and pretty linen closet.

I can’t believe I was thinking of getting rid of these baskets. I haven’t used them in about three years or so and they have just been sitting in my décor pile of items not being used in our house at the moment. Do any of you have piles or spaces that contain items like this? Well, I am just glad I was able to put them to use!
I am going to be making tags for each basket to let everyone know what’s inside.

Cost of this project= $0

I love a fresh, clean, organized linen closet!

I am so a fan of all things organized, especially when they cos zero dollars. My linen closet is stuffed with thick towels and sheets ugh! I need to tackle it sooner than later. Yours looks great! Baskets just have a way of making things look clean and orderly.
